Prime minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday showered Bangladesh’s left arm pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman with praise for his outstanding performance in the ongoing Indian Premier League.
At the onset of ECNEC meeting prime minister praised Mustafiz’s magical performance, planning minister and former International Cricket Council president AHM Mustafa Kamal said after the meeting.
Mustafiz became a huge sensation in the cricketing fraternity since his successful debut against Pakistan in 2015 and later raised his worth with some remarkable performances.
Widely known as The Fizz, the twenty-year-old Mustafiz is one of the most economical bowlers in IPL playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Mustafizur also earned praises of cricket pundits of all over the world as well as from his team-mates.
‘Mustafiz has brought a lot of respect for us and has taken the country to a new height,’ said Kamal. ‘We are also proud as a nation. He is a national hero.’
