The president, Abdul Hamid, on Sunday asked vice-chancellors of all public universities to be more careful to maintain images of their respective universities.
‘The quality of education as well as campus atmosphere must be enhanced at all universities,’ he said while a delegation of the Association of Universities of Bangladesh led by its president vice-chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agriculture University in Gazipur Professor M Mahbubur Rahman paid a call on him at Bangabhaban in the afternoon.
The delegation comprised vice-chancellors of all public universities including chairman of the University Grants Commission Professor AK Azad Chowdhury and Dhaka University vice-chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique.
