Previously actress Purnima has acted in quite a few TV plays based on Tagore’s works. As her latest project she will play a lead role in Laboratory, a TV play based on Tagore’s acclaimed story. She will be playing the role of Rebuti in the TV play which will be directed by Mahbuba Islam Shumi. The TV play will also include Soaeb and Dolly as cast. The shooting for the play which will take place at various places of Kaliyakoir will begin from 15 July. The TV play will be aired on Channel i on Tagore’s death anniversary.
