The three final sixth-round matches of the Dhaka Premier League were abandoned on Friday after persistent rain throughout the day.
Only a shortened first innings was possible during the match between Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club and Kalabagan Cricket Academy at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan-3 at Savar.
Asked to bat first after losing the toss, Sheikh Jamal posted 205-8 in 34 overs, led by an unbeaten 99 off 68 balls from Gulbadin Naib.
Kalabagan will begin their chase in the 34-over match today.
Meanwhile, the clash between Cricket Coaching School and Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samiti at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra was also disrupted by rain when CCS were reeling at 99-5 after 24.1 overs. The match
was subsequently reduced to a 40-over game. CCS will resume their innings today.
The match between Brothers Union and Kalabagan Krira Chakra was abandoned without a ball being bowled. The tie will commence today at Fatullah, weather permitting.
