A two-day ‘digital fair’ begins today in the Rajshahi city to build up awareness of rights to information among the city dwellers.
Rajshahi additional divisional commissioner Swapan Kumar Roy disclosed the information at a briefing at the conference room of his office Monday evening.
Home affairs state minister Shamsul Haque Tuku is scheduled to inaugurate the fair as the chief guest at Rajshahi District Stadium at Shalbagan in the city at 10:00am on Wednesday, he said.
A total of 38 stalls are hopped to be set up on the fair ground.
The Rajshahi divisional administration and the Access to Information Programme of the Prime Minister’s Office jointly organised the fair.
