Former Indian spinner Venkatapathy Raju will conduct a six-day specialised spin bowling camp designed for High Performance programme of the Bangladesh Cricket Board from today in Mirpur.
The BCB has called up 25 spinners, including members of the preliminary national squad, to attend the camp. Raju has arrived in Bangladesh on Monday ahead of this camp, where he will share his experience with the spinners.
Earlier former Pakistani fast bowler Aaqib Javed conducted a similar camp with the pace bowlers.
The spinners who have been called up in his camp are-Taijul Isalm, Jubair Hossain, Sohrawardi Shuvo, Shuvagata Hom, Nasir Hossain, Sabbir Rahman, Mossaddek Hossain, Mahmudullah, Sanjamul Islam, Nur Hossain Munna, Tanvir Haider, Saqlain Sajib, Mehidy Hassan Miraz, Al-Amin, Mehidy Hasan, Rahatul Ferdous Javed, Nasum Ahmed, Sohag Gazi, Mohammad Omar, Rony Chowdhury, Mosharraf Hossain Rubel, Saleh Ahmed Shawon Gazi, Mahmudul Hasan Limon, Rafi Reza, Liton Chandra Dhar.
