Some Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha employees on Sunday brought out a procession inside the Rajuk building, demanding regularisation of jobs of 431 employees.
The top authorities were, however, absent from their offices during the demonstration.
Witness said the aggrieved officials chanted slogans against Rajuk chairman M Nurul Huda who reportedly had made a commitment to the employees to regularise their jobs step by step but the process was yet to start.
Rajuk member (planning) Sheikh Abdul Mannan said that some of the employees brought out a procession but their leaders managed to stop the programme as the authorities were working on the matter.
Rajuk employee association president Abdul Malek said the employees stopped their demonstration as the authorities committed to consider the matter.
