GM Abdullah Al-Rakib of Duronto Rajshahi continued to maintain his solo lead in the points table with 8.5 points after the conclusion of the 10th round of the 39th National ‘A’ Chess Championship 2013 on Tuesday at the Bangladesh Olympic Association.
Rakib won in 40 moves against Titas Club’s Md. Jamal Uddin. IM Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagar of Bangladesh Ansar is in second position with eight points after beating FM Mehedi Hasan Parag of Access Group in 42 moves.
GM Ziaur Rahman of Dhaka Mohammedan is in third position with 7.5 points while GM Enamul Hossain Razib of Duronto Rajshahi is in fourth position with seven points. Zia defeated FM Debaraj Chatterjee of Access Group while Razib drew with FM Sheikh Nasir Ahmed of Titas Club.
