Renowned theatre artiste and promising TV actress Reetu A Sattar has recently performed in a TV commercial after a break of long span of five years. Earlier, she performed in TVCs of Horlicks and Meridian Chips respectively in 2006 and 2007.
Though she has been a very known face in the theatre arena of our country because of her active involvement with the theatre troupe, Prachyanat for the last 12 years, she earned popularity among the TV audiences through her regular appearance in TV plays or TVCs from the very beginning of this year.
This time, Reetu has performed in a TV commercial of Swapno Departmental Store under the direction of promising add-maker Adnan which is being aired on different TV channels from December 16, the Victory Day.
While talking about the TVC, Reetu told this correspondent, “The theme of the TVC seemed very good to me and that’s why I performed in this advertisement with my full devotion. I think the viewers will surely like it.”
Meanwhile, Reetu Sattar acted two drama serials titled ‘Fourth Class Society’ and ‘Obogunthon’ are being aired respectively on Boishakhi and Channel i.
Recently, she played the role of a 70 years old lady in the new production of Prachyanat titled ‘Mayer Mukh’. She, however, also earned huge reputation from the critics due to her outstanding performance in Rubaiyat Hossain directed movie ‘Meherjaan,’ which was banned four days later of its release.
