A five-day housing fair of the Real Estate and Housing Association will begin tomorrow at the International Trade Fair venue at the city’s Agargaon.
The ninth version of the annual fair of the association titled REHAB Vision Fair 2010 will house a total of 36 stalls of different housing and real estate companies, said association president Nasrul Hamid Bipu at a press conference at the National Press Club on Tuesday.
Prime minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the fair at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, said Bipu, who is also a ruling party lawmaker.
The fair will remain open between 10 am and 9 pm. The entry fee has been fixed at Tk 50. A ticket valid for the entire duration of the fair will cost Tk 100.
In response to a question, he said the election commission of the REHAB was making preparation to hold the stalled election of the association in February. He said they were not exerting any influence on the election commission to delay the election.
REHAB’s senior vice president Sultana Shaheda Islam and general secretary Murad Iqbal Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
