Ten people, including three of a family, were killed and 16 others injured in road accidents in Dhaka, Tangail, Gazipur, Netrakona, and Dinajpur on Wednesday and yesterday.

Our Tangail correspondent reports, three members of a family were killed and six others injured as a human hauler collided head-on with a pickup on Kalihati-Balla road in Charan of Kalihati upazila yesterday noon.
The deceased were Koruna Rani Das, 45, wife of Jagadish of Dharpara village in Gopalpur upazila; Shilpy Rani Das, 25, her daughter; and Puspo Rani Das, 2, her granddaughter.
Locals took the injured to Kalihati Upazila Health Complex.
Our Gazipur correspondent adds, two people were killed and five others injured as a human hauler plunged into a roadside ditch at Bhadun in Sadar upazila yesterday.
The dead were Ria, 5, daughter of Babul Bhuiyan; and Arif Sarker, 22, son of late Abu Hanif.
Locals took the injured to the nearby clinic and hospital.
Our Netrakona correspondent reports, two persons were killed and five others injured when a truck hit a bicycle and later a rickshaw van on Netrakona-Mymensingh road at Jalshuka in Purbadhola upazila Wednesday night.
The dead were the cycle rider Abul Kalam, 35, of Jalshuka in Purbadhola; and the van-puller Abdus Sattar, 40, of Deetpur in Gouripur, Mymensingh.
Our Dinajpur correspondent adds, two persons were killed as a truck hit a woman and fell into a ditch beside Dhaka-Dinajpur highway in Raniganj of Ghoraghat yesterday afternoon.
The deceased were the woman Milatunnessa, 60, wife of Lokman Ali of Harirampur in Ghoraghat; and Mehdi Hasan, 20, son of late Mintu Mia of Silkamari in Bogra Sadar upazila.
