Robbers looted gold ornaments and cash from a house of a clinic official Thursday afternoon in Depara area under the Daulatpur police of Khulna city.
The Daulatpur police officer-in-charge, Shuresh Halder, quoted Ataur Rahman, the house owner, said three masked men entered the house breaking window of his bedroom.
They looted six tolas of gold ornaments, Tk 34,000 in cash and other valuables confining them in a room, the OC said.
The victim, who works as an official of Ariba Health Care Clinic in Dhaka and came to Khulna on Wednesday afternoon, informed the police that robbers were carrying arms, the OC added.
