Awami League lawmaker Golam Maula Rony was released from Kashimpur jail on Monday, six days after securing bail in all the three cases, including the one filed for assaulting two journalists of Independent Television. His wife Qamrun Nahar Rony and younger brother Golam Kabir were also present. He was released after spending 53 days in jail.
Emerging out of the jail, Rony said he has taken some lessons from his prison days. “I will try to implement those lessons in my future life. I will also tell my followers to follow the lessons also,” he added.
Rony said he has full confidence in judiciary and added, “I’m released after obtaining bail from the country.”
