Nearly 1200 Bangladeshi Rotarians would take part in a daylong annual gathering today at Savar to discuss their future course over the next one year, said a press release on Friday.
The Rotary Club of Uttara is hosting this year’s assembly at the Bangladesh Public Adminbstration Training Centre where leading Rotarians would lecture on the future schemes for the socio-economic development in Bangladesh in line with Rotary International’s motto.
The event is an annual occasion where Rotarians gather and exchange views and brainstorm their ideas on how Rotary Clubs can cpontribue more toward the socio-economic development and various other sectors for a positive change.
Incumbent district governor Rotarian Ishtiaq A Zaman said in the statement that the assembly would provide everyone with a unique opportunity to be aware of their roles and responsibilities for the coming Rotary year (2013-14).
