Female students of Khaleda Zia Hall of Rajshahi University on Wednesday placed a memorandum to the hall provost for taking action against stalkers as they face harassment regularly.
In the memorandum, the female students stated that they were facing teasing regularly when they stay in their respective room as the hall is situated by the side of the road.
They called upon the authorities concerned to take immediate steps in this regard.
The students also sent its copy to the university vice-chancellor, student adviser, proctor and, Rajshahi police commissioner.
A total of 100 female students signed the memorandum.
Khaleda Zia Hall provost Professor Laila Anzuman Banu assured the students of looking into matter.
