Two students of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology have invented a device which can control a room and perform activities in it from a distance.
Abdur Razzak and Biplob Hossain, students of electrical and electronic
engineering department, invented the machine. The machine has a door lock system capable of opening and closing the door of a room automatically.
To ensure the additional security in this system, a fingerprint is included for users. A secret code number is enough to control all the systems.
Moreover, fan, light, air cooler devices can be controlled without any cable if the code number is added to the machine, said Abdur Razzak in an exhibition of the device at RUET auditorium on Tuesday.
All approaches are organised by a unique remote control, he added.
Users can control all devices into the room by cell phone under this machine.
Biplob Hossain said if anybody would forget to switch off the fan in his room, the device would be able to switch it off through the cell phone.
Rafiqul Islam, head of the department of electrical and electronic engineering, said the machine would be helpful for digital Bangladesh.
