After Mohammedan Sporting Club, Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra,
Abahani Limited and Brothers Union have also showed their interest in participating in the
Kings Cup football tournament, which is scheduled to take place in Bhutan in July.
The Bhutan Football Federation hadinvited only two Bangladesh Premier League
clubs to take part in the event and the Bangladesh Football Federation informed all eight
Premier clubs about the invitation.
‘We informed about the interest of the clubs to the professional
league committee and they will ultimately decide which two clubs
will be sent,’ said BFF general secretary Abu
Nayeem Shohag on Wednesday.
