Despite being sacked from the DMCH, Jahangir continued his practice of issuing medical certificates illegally using hospital seals and documents. After receiving information, DMCH director Brigadier General Mostafizur Rahman on Friday went to the library of the Neurosurgery department and caught Jahangir Alam red handed along with hospital seals and other documents.Jahangir was later handed over to police but authorities did not file any case against him at that time. Police informed that measures will be taken against Jahangir after the authorities have filed a written complaint. According to police, Jahangir was taken to the Shahbagh police station, from where, he managed to flee. When contacted, senior police officials of Ramna Zone said a case will be filed against Jahangir and actions will be taken against the policemen involved for negligence of duty.
