Model-turned-actor Sarika is very busy with number of single-episode TV plays for upcoming Valentine’s Day and two serials .
For the Valentine’s Day she will appear in nearly 10 TV plays, six of which shooting has already been completed. She is also replacing Prova in Arun Chowdhury’s drama serial ‘Rumali’. Actor Prova acted in the first 13 episodes of the 52-episode drama, Sarika will act in rest of the episodes.
‘My episodes will go on air from January 25. It was a really challenging job for me as Prova has performed the character excellently, but I put my entire concentration on the drama and I tried to give my best effort’, said Sarika in an interview to New Age. ‘I feel I have performed one of my best characters in the drama ‘Rumali,’ Sarika added.
She has shot for another drama serial by Animesh Aich which is scheduled to be telecasted on BTV. In this 13-episode drama, ‘Gari Cholena‘, she played a popular a character of Humayun Ahmed named Nitu.
‘Actually, I wanted to be an established model first, and then I wanted to be an actor as the ultimate goal of my career.’ said Sarika.
She prefers to perform in single-episode dramas more than drama serials.
