Bangladesh women cricket team’s newly-appointed coach Sarwar Imran said on Saturday that he will focus on the fitness of his charges ahead of their Ireland tour.
Women’s team will visit Ireland in next month for two one-day internationals and two Twenty20 matches and Sarwar, who was Bangladesh’s coach in their inaugural Test match on 2000, will work as coach for them.
‘We have a lot of room to improve,’ said Sarwar. ‘Fitness is an important thing. We do not have many power hitters. It is not only about physical aspects but there are some technical issues. I will work on them.’
