Real estate company Sheltech is going to organise four-day ‘winter housing fair’ at its Panthapath office in Dhaka from Thursday.
The company would offer yearend discount up to Tk 5 lakh for 3-4 bed-roomed apartments in Dhaka, said Sheltech managing director Toufiq M Seraj at a briefing at his office on Tuesday.
He said the company would sell apartments within a price range of Tk 5,000 to Tk 8,000 per square feet depending on the facilities and location.
Referring the prospects of real estate sector in Bangladesh, he recommended framing an umbrella act to check the loophole of the existing Bangladesh National Building Code 1993 and Dhaka Metropolitan Building Construction Rule 2008.
Toufiq Seraj, also former president of REHAB, said the company would commence housing projects equipped with solar panel, self power generation system and rain harvesting system from the next year.
The fair will remain open to visitor from 10:00am to 7:00pm up to December 26 at Sheltech building at Panthapath.
