Three short films made by child filmmakers were screened at a programme at the Abul Karim Sahitto Bisharod Hall of Shishu Academy on Friday.
Films screened at the programme—Amader Matiur, Papi Naamer Chheleti and Atut Swapna Kahini- are the outcome of a child filmmaking workshop conducted by the academy, said a press release.
Information minister Hasanul Haque Inu was present at the programme as the chief guest and watched the films.
The minister appreciated the young filmmakers and suggested to include more programmes for children the television channels in the country.
The academy has been conducting filmmaking workshop for the upcoming filmmakers since 2008.
