Bangladeshi golfer Siddikur Rahman ended a disappointing Yeangder TPC on a positive note, carding a two-under-par 70 in the final round to finish in 41st place at four-over-par in Taipei on Sunday. Thailand’s Thaworn Wiratchant shot a final-round 68 to finish at 13-under and claim the title from American Chan Kim, who entered Sunday with a one-stroke lead over the Thai but bogeyed in the 15th, 16th and 17th holes to fall into second place.
After barely making the cut and shooting above par
in each of the first three rounds to begin the final day of the tournament at six-over, Siddik birdied four holes, including the final two, and made two bogeys to post the joint 11th-best round of the day.
