Bangladeshi golfer Siddikur Rahman struggled for the second straight day at the ISPS Handa World Cup of Golf in Melbourne, falling to six-over-par for the tournament after his second-round four-over 75 on Friday. The winner of the Hero Indian Open two weeks ago could not get anything going in the second round, birdieing just one hole – the 6th – and bogeying the 4th, 8th, 9th, 11th and 16th.
Siddik now sits in a six-way tie for 49th in the 60-man field, 14 strokes behind the leader, Denmark’s Thomas Bjorn, who opened up a one-stroke lead over fellow overnight co-leader Kevin Streelman after posting a second-round 68 to the American’s 69.
