Bangladesh golfer Siddikur Rahman plummeted to joint-21st position after the end of the second round’s play in the Selangor Masters at the Seri Selangor Golf Club in Malaysia on Friday.
Siddik descended from joint-tenth place to joint-21st on the second day of the 400,000-dollar tournament after carding two-over-par 73. Thailand’s Pariya Junhasavasdikul continued to top the leaderboard after shooting three-under-par 68.
The 28-year-old Siddik hit four birdies and four bogeys but his day worsened due to a double bogey in the 10th hole.
Siddik began the day in an unassuming manner as he shot a bogey in the very 1st hole. He went on to strike three more bogeys in the 7th, 12th and 17th holes while he fired four birdies in the 5th, 9th, 13th and 15th holes.
