Two men were beaten up and hacked for disturbing a girl on Jhenaidah Kesab Chandra Government Degree College campus Sunday noon. The miscreants were Roni, 18, and Apu, 17.
The college principal, Abdul Baset Mia, said the duo was beaten up as they tried to dishonour a girl on the campus. At one stage some apoplectic students hacked the two, he added.
The Jhenaidah police officer-in-charge, Kazi Jalal Uddin Ahmed, said they rescued and sent the duo to sadar hospital.
