Bangladeshi golfing genius Siddikur Rahman turned his game around in the fourth round after his dismal performance the previous day at the Barclays Singapore Open on Sunday.
Siddik showed the world his courageous effort as he scored 7 birdies in the fourth round (only played 11 holes) before the game was stopped due to fading light. The rest of the fourth round game will resume at 7-30am (Singapore time) today.
He started the round from back nine and scored birdies at the holes 10th, 11th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 18th & 1st (-7 to Par). At the end of the day’s play Siddik was tied in the 21st position.
‘I’m happy to play well in the fourth round and thanks to almighty Allah I was able to put up a good fight to compete with the elites,’ Siddik said.
It was an amazing comeback from a below average performance in the second and third rounds when he bogeyed twice in the last 4 holes of 2nd round and played +5 over in the 3rd
round. Siddik was tied in the 11th position after 14th hole of the 2nd round on Friday and slipped to 64th position after 3rd round on Saturday and barely made the cut.
