Admission tests of the first year honours students in 2013-14 academic session at the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology would be held on November 30.
Sources in the university administration said the Association of Universities in Bangladesh in a meeting on Monday decided to hold the admission tests of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology and Jessore University of Science and Technology on the same day.
An admission seeker can enrol his/her name at any one of the two universities to sit for the admission test.
Besides, the candidates, who would pass the tests, have the option to choose any of the two campuses to study based on their personal interest, the sources said.
Being contacted over cell phone, SUST vice-chancellor Aminul Haque Bhuiyan told New Age that the intake tests of the two universities would be held simultaneously.
‘We, the authorities of SUST and JUST, have agreed to hold the tests at a same day and other decisions in this regard would be finalised in a further meeting scheduled to be held on Sunday next at SUST campus,’ the vice-chancellor added.
