Former Australian cricketer and performance analyst of Lancashire county club Jason Swift has been appointed as the new fielding coach of the Bangladesh national team, said a BCB official on Sunday.
‘We have finalised the appointment and hope that he will join the team before the Zimbabwe tour,’ said BCB chief executive officer Manzur Ahmed.
Swift will replace Englishman Julien Fountain, whose brief stint with the Tigers ended in April.
Swift, who did not play any international or first-class matches, will join compatriot Stuart Law in the new coaching set-up for the Tigers.
