The ICC World Twenty20 India 2016 trophy will arrive in Bangladesh today as part of its global journey. Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hassan will have a photo session with the trophy on its arrival in Dhaka. After that the prestigious silverware will be taken to the Bashundhara City shopping mall and will be on display there for cricket fans from 1pm to 8pm.
The glittering trophy will be on show again on Friday from 10am to 3pm at the same place.
Following its Bangladesh leg of travel, the trophy will head to Sri Lanka.
The ICC World Twenty20 trophy is visiting 12 countries that are taking part in the tournament which will be staged in India from March 8 to April 3.
