Left-leaning Bangladesh Students Union celebrates its 61st founding anniversary today. The BSU, that played a vital role in all democratic and student movements and the independence war in 1971, would organise a student rally and bring out a procession in the capital, carrying the national and organisation flags, banners and placards.
