Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami on Thursday called a nationwide dawn to dusk hartal for Sunday protesting verdict against its joint secretary general Mohammad Kamaruzzaman for two wartime offences. The party announced the programme in a statement on Thursday following the ICT verdict that awarded death sentence to Kamaruzzaman.
