Syed Waqeel Ahad entertained the audience presenting as array of baul fusions from his album titled Waqeel-er Gaan on Friday at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre in Gulshan. He fused western instruments while presenting baul songs composed by leading bards like Fakir Lalon Shah and Shah Abdul Karim in his signature style.

Topu to release his third solo album
There is a good reason for Topu’s fans to be excited as the singer is planning to release his third solo album during the upcoming Eid-Ul-Fitr festival. The album titled Aar Tomake will feature 10 new songs, all composed by Topu himself. He has written the lyrics of nine songs for the album.
