A jam-packet audience enjoyed Rabindranath Tagore’s poems and songs performed at the Shawkat Osman Auditorium of the Central Library on Friday evening, amid a moderate shower throughout the day. Noted recitation troupe Sharabritta organised the programme titled Rabi Thakurer Ajor Kabita Abinashi Gaan taken from a verse of the late poet Shamsur Rahman.

Art of Tagore’s Songs launched
A research work on Tagore song titled The Art of Tagore’s Songs by Karunamaya Goswami was unveiled on Monday at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital. Eminent Tagore scholar and musicologist Karunamaya Goswami took three years to accomplish the research work. Covering various aspects of Tagore song
