The results of assistant teacher and headmaster recruitment examinations for government primary schools were published yesterday.
Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) published the results in its website at www.dpe.gov.bd.
At least 30,712 examinees succeeded for the post of assistant teacher and 1,852 examinees succeeded in the headmasters recruitment test, according to the website.
The written test for the post of assistant teacher was held on January 8 this year while the viva was held in June this year. Around 8.72 lakh examinees took part in the test and 1.30 lakh of them faced viva.
Allegations of several irregularities marked in the assistant teachers test.
On the other hand, the written test for the post of headmaster was held in December last year and viva was held this year.
