Teletalk Bangladesh, the state-owned mobile phone company, on Monday signed an agreement with China National Machinery and Equipment and Export Corporation for introduction of 3G services in the company and expansion of its existing 2.5G services.
Managing director of Teletalk Majibur Rahman and Yang Yinchin of CMEC signed the deal in the presence of post and telecommunication minister Raziuddin Ahmed Razu, an official handout said.
Chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on post and telecommunications ministry Hasanul Haque Inu and post and telecom secretary Sunil Kanti Bose were present at the function held in conference room of the ministry.
