Bangladesh Cricket team led by its prolific skipper Shakib Al Hasan will meet New Zealand Cricket team led by experienced captain Daniel Vettori today in the fifth and last One Day International (ODI) match of the Micromax Cup at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket
Stadium in Mirpur. The game begins at 9.00 AM BST (Bangladesh Standard Time).
Bangladesh have now the target of clean sweep against their visiting counterpart.
Bangladesh have already clinched the ODI series 3-0.
Bangladesh made an auspicious start when the home side beat the touring New Zealand by nine runs in the first ODI on October 5 at the same venue.
The second ODI between the hosts Bangladesh and the visiting New Zealand was abandoned due to inclement weather on October 8.
The Tigers composed a massive seven-wicket victory over the Kiwis in the third ODI on October 11 at the same venue.
Later, the Tigers retained their supremacy when they defeated the Black Caps by nine runs in the fourth ODI at the same venue.
Shakib Al Hasan hopes that his team will display better performance in the fifth ODI and will hopefully, earn the clean sweep against the touring side.
On the other hand, the visiting New Zealand want to win in the last ODI against the home side and want to avoid white wash.
