A seven-day foundation training workshop for entrepreneurs began on Tuesday with a view to establishing urban information and service centres at every ward of the Dhaka South City Corporation.
DSCC and the Access to Information Project of the Prime Minister’s Office jointly organised the workshop at the DSCC Nagar Bhaban’s auditorium, said a press release.A total of 120 entrepreneurs joined the training, it added.
DSCC administrator Mohammad Nazmul Islam expressed hope that these centres would be able to provide digital services to the citizens.
The corporation’s chief executive officer Mohammad Ansar Ali Khan emphasised the commercial operation of these centres.
The programme was attended, along others, by A2I project intent co-ordinator Suporna Roy and DSCC secretary
Mohammad Mahbub Hossian.
