The International Table Tennis Federation has started a camp from December 1 to 10 at Paltan wooden floor gymnasium with the participation of twenty-two top paddlers, twelve men and ten women, to improve the standard of the national team.
Another three-week long camp will begin with twenty-six emerging players including six girls just a day after the first camp ends.
‘The players are working hard and they are improving a lot. We are sharing the latest techniques and tactics of the game with the trainees. The good thing is that they can follow the instructions very quickly but they are not physically strong,’ said ITTF’s Pakistani course conductor and coach Arif Khan.
‘However, I am working on their physical fitness and they are overcoming the problem,’ said the Pakistani coach, who with is the instructor of both the camps.
