University Grants Commission chairman Professor AK Azad Chowdhury on Sunday said training, especially foundation training, is very vital for the young university
teachers for producing quality faculty members at university levels.
‘Depth of knowledge is essential for the teaching profession but communication, information technology and language skills are needed for an efficient and accomplished teacher, he said while speaking as the chief guest at a meeting at Graduate Training Institute here.
