The UK Border Agency in Bangladesh and its commercial partner, VFS Global, are launching a new service called ‘Prime Time’ for UK visa applicants.
A release of the British High Commission said on Tuesday that the new service to be launched on January 19 and it would benefit applicants, who find it difficult to submit their application during normal working hours, by allowing them to submit their applications between 10:00am and 1:00pm on Saturdays.
This service is being offered by the UK Border Agency and VFS Global as part of their commitment to ensure an efficient visa service and to deliver a range of enhanced optional services, the release said.
There will be a fee for use of the Prime Time service, which will be offered alongside the premium services available at the UK Visa application centres, it said.
Additionally, regular visitors to the UK may also wish to consider applying for a longer term multiple entry visitor visa, valid for 1, 2, 5 or 10 years. A long term visitor visa gives the convenience of only making one visa application for the entire duration of the visa, said the release.
It allows unlimited visits to the UK during this time, though does not permit stay for longer than 180 days during any visit.
