United Airways, one of the private airlines in Bangladesh, has announced 30 per cent fuel surcharge cut on all routes as world oil prices marked a sharp fall.
The cut in fuel surcharge comes into effect on January 20, reports UNB.
Considering the passengers’ right to benefit from the decline in world fuel prices, United Airways has taken the decision, said a press release.
Following the cut down in the fuel surcharge, Dhaka-Chittagong one-way regular fare will be Tk 5,150 (including all taxes), Dhaka-Sylhet Tk 5,000, Dhaka-Jessore Tk 4,500, Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar Tk 7,000, Dhaka-Barisal Tk 4,100, Dhaka-Saidpur Tk 5,150, Dhaka-Kolkata Tk 7,009, Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar Tk 3,000.
The airliner gives New Year’s special offer to travel to any destination in Bangladesh at Tk 2,000, including all taxes (limited seats available on first come first serve basis).
United Airways also offers other special fares for passenger where limited seats are available on certain conditions.
One-way fare, including taxes for Dhaka-Chittagong is Tk 3,500, Dhaka-Sylhet Tk 3,200, Dhaka-Jessore Tk 2,500, Dhaka-Barisal Tk 2,500, Dhaka-Saidpur Tk 3,000, Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar Tk 4,500, Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar Tk 1,500 and Dhaka-Kolkata Tk 5,000.
