Md. Nasib Khan has managed to capture the serene beauty of Birishiri, a region in Mymensingh, through use of vibrant colours in his painting. Rural life, green horizon, breath taking beauty of the rivers and boats of Bangladesh have also been highlighted in Sagar Sen Gupta’s water colour painting, in which the artist has used flat-wash technique.

A muddy road with rows of trees on both sides has been depicted in Saha Alam’s painting done in mixed media of water colour and pen. Vice-Chancellor of UODA, Dr. Emaz Uddin, said, ‘I am overwhelmed to see the beauty of nature being translated so wonderfully into these paintings. I take it as a pride.’
