Usha Krira Chakra registered another comfortable 4-0 victory over Sadharan Bima while Abahani Limited thrashed Ajax Sporting Club 13-1 in the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League on Friday. Mamunur Rahman Chayan and Krishana Kumar scored twice for Usha, while Abahani’s Pakistani forwards Kashif Ali and Abdul Hashim Khan scored three goals each.Puskar Khisha Mimo and Rumman Sarker scored twice, and Amir Shahzada, Musa Mia and Hasan Zubayer Niloy each scored one goal apiece for Abahani.
Rahat Sarwar scored Ajax’s only goal. Usha will now face Abahani in the last match on February 11, which will be the title decider. Usha have 24 points while Abahani have 21 points, which means that Abahani will have to win the match to clinch the title but Usha can claim the title with a draw.
