Joint champions Usha Krira Chakra continued their dominance in the Premier Hockey League with a convincing 7-1 win over Sadharan Bima at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium on Saturday.
In the other match of the day, other joint champions Abahani Limited also registered a huge 6-0 victory over Ajax Sporting Club to stay second in the points table.Both Usha and Abahani are still unbeaten in the league with Usha earning 25 points from nine matches while Abahani remained two points behind from the same number of outings.
Hasan Jubaer Niloy netted four goals for Usha while Krishna Kumar Das, Ashfaq Newaz and Alim Belal scored one goal apiece. Rasul pulled one goal back for Bima.
Meanwhile, Maksud Alam Habul scored three goals for Abahani while Rumman Sarkar netted two and Sheikh Mohammad Nannu added the other one from the penalty corner.
