Usha Krira Chakra beat Ajax SC 3-2 in the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium on Wednesday, taking their winning-streak to three games.
National striker Krishna Kumar scored in the second minute to give Usha the lead, but Rahat Sarwar converted a penalty just eight minutes to bring Ajax level.Ajax took a surprise 2-1 lead into the halftime break after a field goal from Ibrar Ahmed on 22 minutes.
Moinul Islam Koushik equalised for Usha two minutes into the second half after a spell of pressure before Rimon Kumar scored the winner.
With the win, Usha are at the top of the league table with six points, three ahead of Abahani, who have a game in hand. Ajax stayed in fifth place with just one point.
