The fever of ICC World Twenty20 which Bangladesh will host exclusively began even before the tickets go on sale. The passionate fans had already started gathering at the branches albeit the tickets will be on sale from Sunday at 93 official ticket sales counters located in MoneyGram outlets in designated branches of National Credit & Commerce (NCC) and Agrani banks situated across Bangladesh. It was seen at the Motijheel branch of the NCC Bank that the enthusiastic people sat in bank’s premise from Saturday night and prepared to stay whole night in order to ensure their desired tickets. The same situation was seen before the 2011 World Cup which Bangladesh co-hosted alongside India and Sri Lanka. Agrani Bank and NCC bank signed a MoU with ‘Bigtree Entertainment Private Limited’ and ‘AttraBiT Technologies & Solutions Limited’ (ICC appointed ticketing agency) on last Wednesday. A person needs to present National ID for purchasing the ticket. One customer will be entitled maximum four tickets of a single match. Agrani Bank will start the ticket selling through their 49 branches across the country while in 44 selected MoneyGram booth of NCC Bank Ltd. The ticketing system will host inventory on cloud and will have print on demand real time printing. The ICC and the BCB have appointed ‘Book my Show’ to manage the ticket sales process.
