President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of World Vision International (WVI), a global humanitarian organisation, Kevin J Jenkins is in city on a four-day tour,
reports UNB. Jenkins, in his first visit here, is mainly focusing on interaction with community people including children being served by World Vision Bangladesh (WVB)
for witnessing significant changes in their lives through various programs such as, education, health, economic development, livelihood and security, climate change
and disaster mitigation and other human aspects. The WVI President, who arrived on Friday, visited several WVB programmes in Khulna and Bogra in the first two days,
said a media release issued yesterday. Jenkins is accompanied by his communication officer Nigel Marsh, World Vision South Asia and Pacific region’s leader Trihadi
Saptoadi, National Director of World Vision Bangladesh Jan De Waal, and senior officials of country office. He is scheduled to leave Dhaka on Monday afternoon.
