GM Ziaur Rahman maintained solo lead in the Berger Six Seasons Grandmasters Chess Tournament at the close of third round at Tulip Lounge of Uttara Club yesterday.
After two successive wins, Zia drew against FM Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagar, who along with GM Niaz Murshed stayed at second position with two points each.
Niaz beat India’s Bitan Banerjee, FM Sbu Sufian Shakil beat FM Sayantan Das, FM Mehdi Hasan Parag beat FM Yee Soon Wei, GM Vakhidov Tair drew with IM Sahaj Grover.
