Grand Master Ziaur Rahman held Russian Super GM Evgeny Tomashevsky in second successive match of the World Cup chess opening round in Baku, Azerbaijan on Saturday.
Zia played with black against 2758-rated Tomashevsky, the 12th seeded player of the tournament, and secured a draw after 29 moves. The first match between them also ended in a draw.
The winner of the opening round will now be decided through tie-breaker today.
According to tournament rules, two tie-break matches will be held today.
